US-based marine decking and deck maintenance product company, Teakdecking Systems (TDS), is appointing Bryan Dodd as vice president of deck maintenance products. Based in the US, Dodd will oversee the company’s deck maintenance products division, focusing on growth and innovation in North America, while also supporting the expansion of product strategy and development efforts in Europe.
Dodd was most recently president and CEO of Unecol Adhesives North America, where he introduced European adhesive brands to the US market, securing national distribution with major retailers.
Dodd joins Teakdecking Systems at a time of strategic change for the company. Since June 2025, TDS has transitioned from a single master deck maintenance products distributor model to managing its European distribution operations directly. Operating from its Spanish facility, the company is now building a network of regional distributors to offer faster service, greater product availability and localised support throughout the continent.

Having worked across the US, China, India and Europe, Dodd’s in-depth understanding of global markets and customer needs makes him uniquely equipped to support TDS’s international initiatives while strengthening its US operations.
