Twin Vee PowerCats has launched an upgraded version of BoatsForSale.com, an online marketplace for boat buyers, private sellers and dealers.
The Florida-based company — manufacturer of Twin Vee and AquaSport boats — acquired the platform in February 2025 and has since carried out a development programme, which the firm says is intended to improve performance and the customer experience compared with other similar websites.
The revised platform features an AI-driven natural language search tool that replaces traditional filters. Buyers can search using phrases such as “fishing boats in Ft. Lauderdale” or “pontoon boats under $200,000 near me”.
Joseph Visconti, president and CEO of Twin Vee, says: “We believe that no other boat listing competitor comes close to this functionality. By focusing on the buyer’s experience with natural language search, we’re creating better results for our boat buyers. And that translates into happy private sellers and dealers.”
The company has also placed emphasis on SEO. Twin Vee claims that enhanced indexing, tagging and other updates have increased organic search traffic by 67 per cent and raised Florida search rankings by more than 400 per cent within a few months.
Tom Huffman, chief information officer and head of Twin Vee’s digital division, says: “Increasing by these percentages, in such a short time, shows the focus and strength of our team, and we’ve only just begun. We fully expect to be side-by-side in organic search with our main competitor, Boats Group.”
Further updates on BoatsForSale.com include a new dashboard providing detailed visibility into leads and inventory performance for dealers, and AI-driven listing automation. The latter uses photo-based tools to generate listings that include features, specifications and SEO-tagged descriptions. Huffman says these initiatives reduce the time sellers spend creating listings and increase the likelihood of converting leads into sales.
“We’ve executed our top priorities in short order and are now poised to provide superior results for our customers,” Visconti says. “We’re proud of our progress and look forward to announcing more innovations as we continue to disrupt and improve the marine industry.”
Twin Vee PowerCats Co. builds power sport catamarans used for fishing, cruising and recreation. The company is based in Fort Pierce, Florida, and has been manufacturing boats for 30 years.
