Highfield Boats has appointed two new dealer partners in the US — Erickson Marine of Minnesota and Hoffman’s Marina of New Jersey.

The company, which reports a 31 per cent share of the US rigid inflatable boat (RIB) market within its competitive set (other RIB manufacturers), will hold its 2026 dealer/media days in Cadillac, Michigan, on 9–10 September. The event will include 150 attendees, including representatives from Erickson Marine and Hoffman’s Marina, and others from its expansive US dealer network.

Erickson Marine has locations in Hastings and Tonka Bay, Minnesota, serving the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Marking 50 years in operation, the business provides boat sales, service and storage.

“We are excited to have the full Highfield Boats line. We like the quality, and we think their new models, including the jet boats, will enhance our business,” says Jon Erickson, president & owner of Erickson Marine. “Our customers boat on lakes and rivers, and with Highfield bringing out bigger models, we think there is a growth potential for RIBS as primary boats as well as tenders.”

Hoffman’s Marina in Brielle, New Jersey, is located near Manasquan Inlet with access to the Intracoastal Waterway. The company provides service, maintenance, parts, berthage and winter storage.

“We’re very happy to welcome both Hoffman’s and Erikson into the Highfield USA family,” says Christophe Lavigne, president of Highfield Boats USA. “These are strong, reputable dealerships that share our values of customer care and passion for the water. Their arrival strengthens our presence in two important regions: Minnesota represents the growth of our brand in the Midwest, a relatively new market for RIBs, while New Jersey reinforces our solid position in the Northeast – a region traditionally more familiar with RIB culture.”

Highfield Boats will present several new models during the event. These include the ADV7 crossover RIB, first shown at the Miami International Boat Show, the Rotax-powered Velox 560 Jet, also premiered at MIBS 2025, the Sport 660 with FLUX electric outboard power, and the Patrol 540 commercial RIB with a US-built welded aluminium hull. The firm will also reveal two new US-built Highfield RIBs for families.

“Expanding our family-oriented sportboat and jet series is at the heart of our strategy for 2026. Hoffman and Erikson are perfectly positioned to introduce more families to the fun, safe, and versatile experience that RIBs offer,” Lavigne adds.

Lavigne confirms that the company intends to expand its US dealer network further. “Even with our current momentum, states like Tennessee, Indiana, Missouri, Louisiana, and Georgia remain open territories for us. We’re actively looking for customer-service-oriented dealer partners who share our passion and want to bring Highfield Boats to their communities,” he says.

Founded in 2011, Highfield Boats manufactures aluminium-hulled RIBs ranging from 6 ft to 30 ft, covering tenders and heavy-duty models. The company has dealers and distributors in 46 countries. Production is based in Weihai, China, and in 2023, the company opened a rigging and distribution facility in Cadillac, Michigan.
